The Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock Recap - Episode 10, Season Finale Part I

With abs like those, who needs Mormons?

After limbo with "the locals"...

DREW KENNEY - Oh no, it's raining! Let's take shelter in the one place where we could also have sex away from the cameras!

DESIREE HARTSOCK  - You're such a bad boy!

DREW KENNEY - That's what my dad always said when he would get drunk. And then he'd -

DESIREE HARTSOCK    -  **ignoring him** Oh look! Cake!

After a helicopter ride...

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - I wrote something in my notebook for you.

DESIREE HARTSOCK - Is it a poem?

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - This piece doesn't rhyme, so if my understanding of what makes a poem is correct, it is not a poem.

DESIREE HARTSOCK - You're so full of surprises.

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - Thank you, I know. **reads** "Des, I hope your back is ok, and that you've forgiven my Dad for  touching your ass."

DESIREE HARTSOCK - It is, and I do. Oh, hey. Chris Harrison wrote us a letter. **hands him letter**

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - **reads**  "Dear Chris, I never knew I would find love in the arms of another man. Especially not with one also named Chris."

DESIREE HARTSOCK -  Shit, wrong letter. **snatches it away, hands him a new letter**

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - **reads**  "Dear Des and Chris. Should you choose to forgo your individual rooms, you can "make whoopie" in the fantasy suite. But Chris, know that I'll be watching. I'm always watching. Love, Chris Harrison.

DESIREE HARTSOCK - Whoa. Kinda creepy.

CHRIS SIEGFRIED - Yeah. Creepy. **looks longingly out the window**

Brooks meets with his mother and sister...

BROOKS FORESTER  - Ma, Sister who's much older than me, what should I do?

JANICE, BROOKS'S MOM -  You're an adult. I can't tell you what to do. But don't do it.

BROOKS FORESTER  - You're absolutely right. Just like the time you told me to grow out my hair.

Brooks meets Des for their "date"...

DESIREE HARTSOCK - I'm so excited for our day today! We're going to eat nuts and tell each other we love each other!

BROOKS FORESTER - Not so fast. We have to talk.

DESIREE HARTSOCK- Better make it good. I'm wearing a half-shirt.

BROOKS FORESTER  - **sits on bench with her** You know how sometimes...

BROOKS FORESTER  - It's like when you feel stuff....

BROOKS FORESTER  - And then the feelings make you think hard about other stuff...

DESIREE HARTSOCK - So what you're saying is that you want to marry me. Perfect, cuz me too! **hugs him**

The End.
